Daily Devotion for May 6

QUESTION:  What is Love?

SCRIPTURE:  I Corinthians 13:  4 - 7

4Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

QUESTION:  Would this text make a good description of mom?

This Sunday is Mother’s Day

Perhaps you will be thinking about mom this Sunday.  What memories will be brought back?  For me, all of the memories of my mom will focus on the time she spent with me, PRESENCE.  How she sacrificed time in one realm so she could spend time in my realm.  As I think about my mom, my only regret is that I did not spend more time with her.  PRESENCE is crucial in a relationship.  It is difficult to have quality without quantity.  The quality of our relationship was based on the quantity of time, that PRESENCE she was in my life.

THOUGHT TO PONDER

The more Love-Driven mom is, the more she is mom.

REMEMBER
