Social Groups

Opportunities abound at NUMC for great fellowship. There's no way to be involved in everything here, but we sure do offer a variety of ways to keep you busy!

BOOK CLUB: Third Monday of month meets in homes 7:30 p.m. Read pre-selected book each month and discuss next month. Call church office.

CRACKER BARREL FORUM: Come and join in lively discussions about anything anyone wants to bring up religion, politics, the economy, international relations, jokes, technology, you name it. We usually have about 10 to 12 guys, drinking coffee, eating a doughnut and discussing what's on their mind. Come and go as you wish.

NUMC HIKERS:The NUMC Hikers meet monthly to explore the local trails. Hikes are scheduled the first Saturday of each month. Carpool meets in the church parking lot at 8:30 a.m. Bring water, a snack, and sunscreen.

WORMS: Bridge for the "Wild Old Retired Men" You don't have to be that old or a great bridge player to play with us. We don't take it that seriously but we do have fun. Call the church office if you are interested. .

DINNER-BRIDGE: Men and women meet the second Saturday evening each month for a potluck and bridge.

MMM- The Methodist Money Makers is an Investment Club associated with the National Association of Investment Clubs. The Club meets on the fourth Monday of each month except December in the church library at 7 p.m. for approximately two hours. The goal of the Club is education in buying and selling stocks.
Monthly dues are $50 for investing. No buy-in required. Miscellaneous fees are $30 to $50 per year. Some work required in researching and presenting stocks to the group. A Personal Computer and web access is desirable. Guests welcome. Must be Northridge United Methodist Church member or attend on a regular basis.

Breakfast Club: Third Saturday of the month at 8:00 a.m. in Fellowship Hall for breakfast and speaker. Hosted by the Methodist Men, all are invited!

United Methodist Women

ARTS AND CRAFTS: Every Monday at 9:00 a.m. in the Kendall Building. Created items are sold at Spring & Fall Boutiques. The proceeds from Boutique sales go to missions
NEW YOU: First Monday evening, each month, with the aim of enhancing personal growth among women of all ages.
BLUE JAYS BRIDGE: Fourth Tuesday, lunch & fellowship (instruction & play).
BOWLERS: Every Wednesday at 9:15 a.m. at Matador Bowl. (Sept. through May).
NOON FELLOWSHIP: Third Tuesday of the month at 11:30 a.m. in the Kendall Building -- luncheon & speaker.
UMW LUNCH OUT: Fourth Friday of each month at 1:30 pm. Tired of sitting home?
Join us at various valley restaurants.
MAGPIES BRIDGE: First Tuesday of each month. Lunch and fellowship (instruction & play).
